Happy New Year!  Chase and Dylan had a great time spending their first Christmas together.  Chase, basically, opened all of Dylan’s presents, and Dylan was just happy to observe.

Chase started his second year at Ventana School in September and has been enjoying seeing some old classmates and making new friends.  He has 2 new buddies, Alex and Kellan, and they play like there’s no tomorrow.  His friend Kellan even has a nickname for Chase—“Chasey Basey Basey.”

Dylan has been keeping us busy with his fooling around.  His new thing is dropping something on the floor, looking for our reaction, and then laughing.  He’s quite amused with himself.  Dylan is also quite a bruiser.  He’s been taking a beating from Chase’s rough-housing, but seems to be keeping up with the “big kid” just fine.  We’re just waiting for the day when Dylan actually gets bigger than Chase…watch out Chasey Basey Basey!
